Favorite place in Westport? Compo Beach because it's peaceful.
Favorite restaurant in Westport? Aqua for their vegetarian choices: the hummus and felafel, and any number of salad combinations including the watermelon, tomato, and salata, or endive, watercress, and blue cheese, for example, and I absolutely love the chocolate soufflé.

Why Westport? I lived in SoHo in New York City for 20 years. The hustle and bustle of the city was too much for me. It really is the "City that never stops!" I like Westport because it is much quieter and I live in a charming cottage overlooking the Long Island Sound. It's delightful.
