Why Westport?  Westport is my hometown. I still love Compo Beach (though it can be a bit of a busman’s holiday for me) and golf at Longshore. Most importantly my kids have thrived here in the schools. And I am still actively involved in the local soccer program which was such a great influencing factor as I was growing up here.

Professionally, the community support of its parks and recreation programs and facilities is outstanding (current budget challenges aside). The physical and financial assets set Westport at the top of communities of its size when it comes to recreation opportunities for its residents. I work with a wonderful group of dedicated professionals and we enjoy the resources to provide great quality services.
