Letter: Change is Coming, Vote for Marpe
Resident submits letter in support of selectman candidate.

The office of Westport First Selectman will be an open seat on election day. There are two worthy candidates running, but I am vigorously supporting James Marpe for multiple reasons. For the past ten (plus) years, Jim has proven himself to be a dedicated, effective public servant who listens, evaluates and acts with intelligence and effectiveness.
I have spoken with Jim at length about his plans for Westport. He offers our community a perspective that is both visionary and possible, that is both cost effective and cost conscious. Jim is well informed and prepared to lead our community as it faces new and perplexing issues. He will have my vote on November 5th.
