Letter: Marpe/Kaner - An Embarrassment of Riches
Letter submitted in support of selectman candidates.

It is hard for me to limit my praise, or my excitement over Jim Marpe and Avi Kaner’s running for Westport Selectmen. Their campaign literature reads “Leadership Matters” and it does. I’ve known both Jim and Avi for years and have watched them work in various capacities for our town. Jim’s work on the Board of Education and Avi’s on the Board of Finance demonstrate their ability to focus first on what is important for Westport.
They both have shown creativity in their approach to the Town’s problems and a willingness to work with all constituents on coming to workable solutions. Either one would be a terrific asset for our town. Together they would provide a wealth of experience, energy and openness that Westport deserves. They have my support and I hope yours,
