Letter: Support Costello for Probate Judge

As a practicing attorney, I enthusiastically endorse Kieran Costello for Probate Judge. Kieran has the experience, compassion and integrity necessary to fill this very important role.  

His experience includes being actively engaged in the practice of law for over twenty years.  During that time, he has handled hundreds of proceedings in Probate Courts throughout the State, and has taught Probate law at the college level for many years.  As a result, he will not have a learning curve when it comes to dealing with the various complex issues faced by the Probate Court, and he will be able to hit the ground running.

Compassion is a critical quality for any Probate Judge to possess.  Kieran’s compassion is exemplified by the hundreds of seniors to whom he has given free legal advice, and the various charitable organizations in which he has been actively involved.  

His integrity is demonstrated by the fact that judges throughout the state have thought highly enough of him to appoint him to act as a special master on behalf of the court, and by his excellent reputation among the people who interact with him professionally on a regular basis – his fellow members of the bar.

As Probate Judge, I know that Kieran will fairly and effectively perform the responsibilities that come with this important job.  He will make a great probate judge, and I look forward to the service he will provide to our District.
