Westport RTC Announces New Zoning Candidate

The Westport Republican Town Committee’s Nominations Vacancy Committee announced that Wally Sutherland has been selected to run for Zoning Board of Appeals in November’s elections. If elected, Sutherland will give the Republican party a majority on the Zoning Board of Appeals.  

“We are delighted to have Wally Sutherland join our team of Republican candidates this fall.  He will be a tremendous asset to the Zoning Board of Appeals, and to our town,” said RTC Chairwoman Desiree Soli.  “From the top of our ticket with Board of Selectman candidates Jim Marpe and Avi Kaner, and across all the Boards and Commissions, we have a slate of experienced, talented candidates that will help move Westport forward.  We are confident that the voters will agree and elect Wally Sutherland and our entire Republican ticket on Nov. 5.”
