Share the Pie Fundraiser

THE
CONSERVATIVE SYNAGOGUE HELPS HOMES WITH HOPE

Westport,
CT - The Conservative Synagogue of Westport is selling pies through its annual
“Share the Pie” fundraiser to benefit Homes with Hope, a Westport-based
nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the homeless.

Homes with Hope, a local
grassroots response to the tragedy of homelessness, assists people who have
lost their ability to lead normal lives. The organization helps homelessness
from recurring through casework and supportive services, emergency shelter, food
and meals, and life skills training.

Apple,
pumpkin or pecan pies can be purchased for families, friends, business or
families in need. This is the third year that Fairway Market and Zucker Bakers
are baking pies for the event. The pies are $20 each.

While half of the proceeds of “Share the Pie” are
donated to Homes with Hope, the other half funds the synagogue’s social action
efforts throughout the year.
