The Mondays @ 7 Group Announces a Workshop by Rich Terhune, September 23rd, "Understanding the Different Social Styles Encountered in the Job Search Process"

September 19, 2013 – The Mondays @ 7 job networking organization will
sponsor a presentation on September 23rd, by Rich Terhune, Partner, The
New York Life Insurance Company, Stratford, CT.  In his talk, Rich will raise awareness of the various Social Styles
(driver, amiable, expressive and analytical.) Further, he will teach the group
how to identify social styles by type and more importantly how to use this information to
better communicate with HR and hiring managers. 
Finally, Mr. Terhune will train the members of the group on selling
themselves to interviewers, considering their different social styles, at the
close of a job interview. 



 



Rich holds a B.A. degree from Hobart
College and earned a Graduate Diploma in Magazine Publishing from the New York University
Management Institute.

1.       7:00 – 7:45 am – Open networking with coffee
and bagels



2.       7:45 – 8:00 am – News, group business and
introduction of new members



3.       8:00 – 9:00 am – Rich Terhune’s presentation,
“Understanding
the Different Social Styles

                               Encountered  in the Job  Search Process”



4.       9:00 – 9:30 am – Open networking





Founded in the Spring of 2009, the Mondays @ 7 Group is one of the premier job networking organizations in
Fairfield County.  The group’s membership
consists of nearly 400 business professionals, actively involved in a job
search.  Member titles span the gamut
from C-Level management, accounting/finance, marketing/sales, creative
services, human resources, information technology, education, engineering, and
supply chain, to administrative/other areas of endeavor.
