4th Annual Westport First Awards Honors Locals

The 4th annual Westport First Awards and Lincoln Day Dinner will be held on Sunday, March 6, 5 p.m. at the Patterson Club (1118 Cross Highway in Fairfield) and will honor local individuals and organizations that go above and beyond the ordinary to serve and improve the Greater Westport Community. 

Tickets to the 2011 Westport First Awards and Lincoln Day Dinner may be purchased by contacting Neil Wessan at 203-254-7044 or visiting www.westportrepublicans.com. Tickets for the event cost $100 per person.  A portion of the net proceeds will be donated to Homes with Hope and Staples Tuition Grants.

The Westport First Awards, a non-partisan event sponsored by the Westport Republican Town Committee, recognizes the selfless work of individuals who support our town and whose noble efforts to make Westport a better place for us all to live.  This year’s honorees are: Kenneth Bernard, Homes with Hope, and Staples Tuition Grants.  Cameron Bruce will be posthumously awarded the inaugural Westport First Youth Award, which recognizes dedication and service by a young member of the Westport community.
