Library's Holiday Book Sale with New Merchandise

Holiday Book Sale takes place 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, and 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5. The sale will include books in "pristine condition" including new fiction and nonfiction for children and adults; brand-new books for young adults and teens; coffee table books; and unopened DVDs, CDs and audiobooks.

For special gifts this holiday season that fit your budget, be sure to shop at the  Holiday Book Sale 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, and 1-5 Sunday, Dec. 5, on the library's Riverwalk Level. New at this year's sale, one of the children's librarians will be on hand to answer questions and suggest books for children of various ages 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday..

The sale has a wide selection of gift-quality books in pristine condition, all at very reasonable prices. Choose from new fiction and nonfiction, for both children and adults, in many categories, including: cooking, gardening, crafts, art, religion, sports, classic literature, travel, music, and coffee-table books.

Book Sale Chair Mimi Greenlee adds, "We're excited to offer loads of brand-new young adult and teen books, too."  

Special attractions at this year's holiday sale include a big selection of brand-new, shrink-wrapped DVDs, CDs and audiobooks. In addition, there are  never-used and gently used  holiday-themed materials for children and adults on music, customs, stories, decorating, cooking and crafts.
