LINKS HOSTING INFORMATIONAL COFFEES
LINKS Connections for Independent Living is off and running and actively signing up new members. To better inform the public about this innovative concept, LINKS is offering a series of coffees and teas. These events, which will be held at the LINKS office, are being held at various times to accommodate individual schedules.
LINKS Connections is a new aging-in-place organization formed by local volunteers to help older adults enjoy life by remaining in the home they love, in the community they love. LINKS serves Westport and Weston and offers services as varied as vetted pre-screened home maintenance providers, pre-screened healthcare and home care referrals and computer help. In addition LINKS will offer social, cultural, wellness and educational programs.
“Come, learn, ask questions,” said Marjolijn Wijsenbeek, Executive Director of LINKS. “We want to be your resource and we also want to hear your thoughts.”
The dates of the coffees are Tuesday April 24th from 4:00PM to 5:30PM or 7:00PM to 8:30PM; Thursday May 3rd from 10:00AM to 11:30AM; and Tuesday May 8th from 4:00PM to 5:30PM. The LINKS office is at 215 Main Street, a small green office building across from Veterans Park, which is in front of Town Hall. There is plenty of parking in the back.
Members of the community are encouraged to attend. To reserve a space, simply call 203-340-5333 or email director@linksconnections.org.
