Sports Legacy Founder To Speak on Concussions

Chris Nowinski, founder of the Sports Legacy Foundation, returns to the area Sunday, March 14, to address new research on athletes' brains and the dangerous effects of concussions on our kids. The former football player and world wrestler was forced to retire due to multiple concussions. Attendees will learn about the changes facing football and other contact sports.

The event is sponsored by Westport PAL and is required of their coaches.

The Harvard-educated Nowinski will appear at Saugatuck Elementary School in the auditorium. Other town coaches are invited.
