About our speaker: Fred Carstensen is a Professor of Economics and the Director of the Center for Economic Analysis (CCEA) at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. CCEA provides economic impact studies for existing or proposed activities; its website provides access to more than 50 such studies. CCEA also does a quarterly forecast of employment and output for Connecticut. Dr. Carstensen received his PhD in Economic History from Yale University and written, taught and lectured widely on the impact of taxation on economic growth and job creation.
