Wakeman Town Farm Family Fun Day Saturday, July 14
Wakeman Town Farm is hosting a down-home family event for kids/families of all ages on Saturday, July 14 from 12-4 p.m. at Wakeman Town Farm at 134 Cross Highway, Westport.
In addition to a variety of festive food trucks and farmyard lawn games, there will be pony rides, Kaia kids' yoga, a petting zoo, face painting and a pie-eating contest that appeals to teens. All are invited to enjoy a day outdoors on the farm packed with family fun and a true sense of community. This is a terrific opportunity for families in Weston-Westport to come out to Wakeman Town Farm, peruse the organic vegetable gardens, picnic on the grounds, meet the farmers and see what all the buzz is about!
All proceeds from this event will benefit the programs and upkeep of the Town Farm, which is a nonprofit organization on a mission to support small farming, sustainability, community and getting back to our roots! The suggested donation for the event is $5 kids, $10 adults, with food available for purchase.

WTF Mission Statement
The Wakeman Town Farm Sustainability Center is an organic demonstration homestead open to the public.
The Farm is a model facility created to educate the community with local healthy food production, responsible land stewardship, sustainable practices and community service orientation.
Activities include educational workshops, student internships, hosting after school environmental clubs, children's summer camp programs, growing fruits and vegetables, animal husbandry, providing a farm stand and CSA pickup location.
