Triathlon Team Takes the Plunge in Westport for Save the Children

Team Mossman Triathlon Club will kick off the New Year with its 11th annual ‘polar plunge’ at Compo Beach in Westport to benefit Save the Children.

Participants are asked to arrive at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 to be ready to plunge at 10 a.m. Interested area residents can pre-register on the Team Mossman website, and get ready for an invigorating way to start the New Year.

When registering, participants will be asked to choose their donation option. All proceeds from the icy dip in the Sound will go toward Save the Children programs, according to the club.
