1) Exercise with a friend

2) Allow yourself a cold weather 'healthy treat' after your workout - a nice hot cup of cocoa with cinnamon and water can make you smile just thinking of it

3) Plan your workout during the sunniest part of the day. Vitamin D is key during the winter months

4) Even though it's cold outside, try to do at least something physical outdoors a few times a week. You will be amazed at how inspiring a brisk walk can be

5) On the days that you just feel like you can't do it, put a movie on that takes you to a warmer clime while you workout. "Fool's Gold" with Matthew McConaughy and Kate Hudson is one of my favorites
