PEEP and the Big Wide World: First Friday Family Festival at Imagine Nation Museum. Join us for a Big Wide Wolrd Adventure!

Visit the Easter Bunny at Westfield Trumbull Mall! Stop by the Lord & Taylor court starting on April 4th through April 19th and have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny!

2014 Children's Carnival at Queens County Farm Museum. Join us for a carnival in our apple orchard. Carnival rides, midway games and prizes, hayrides, and children’s entertainment make this a fun family event.

The Dinosaur Place at Nature's Art Village Opens for the Season!! The Dinosaur Place is open with a BRAND NEW and EXCITING Animatronic Dinosaur Exhibit. Visitors can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal to a life-like AND life-size Dilophosaurus that will move, roar and even SPIT!

*Open House* at Apple Blossom School and Family Center. Please come and visit Apple Blossom School for a morning of bread making and a puppet show for the children. Spend some time in our classrooms and meet our gifted teachers. Learn about our new Under-3 program and Summer Camp.

Spring Open House & Puppet Show at Westbrook Nature School. Inviting all families with young children! Come spend the morning with us! Watch Spring unfold on a woodland hike, make bird nests and color spring eggs with natural dyes, bake bread, and see a charming puppet show. Organic snacks will be served.

2014 Kaleidoscope Ball: Growing Healthy Children, Healthy Communities at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. Mom and Dad (and Grandma and Grandpa), this one's just for you: The 2014 Kaleidoscope Ball is sure to dazzle and delight with an evening of fine dining, distinguished entertainment, joyful dancing and unique auction items! Amphibian Rescue Corp at Westmorland Sanctuary. The Amphibian Rescue Corp is a group of volunteers who venture out on the first rainy night of early spring to help these valuable animals as they cross roads in our area.

KITE Flying Festival at Greenwich Point Beach! The annual Kite Flying Festival returns to Greenwich point Beach each spring in April. Participants are encouraged to bring kites of all shapes and sizes, made of plastic, paper or fabric. Special award ribbons are given to all high fliers.

Bunny Breakfast at Stew Leonard's - Danbury! Families can sign up for a special Bunny Breakfast on Saturday, April 5, 2014 hosted by the Easter Bunny and his friends.

Easter Cup Cake Basket & Cookie Workshop Lyman Orchards!  Children will have a great time dressing up like a real baker to decorate an Easter Cupcake Basket and Cookie. Pre-paid reservations are required. Workshop fee is $15.00 per person. Please call 860.349.6043 to make your reservations.

Turtles 101 and Becoming a Turtle Monitoring Group Volunteer? During the spring and summer, Westmoreland conducts turtle monitoring as part of our conservation efforts allowing us to access the health and wellbeing of our turtle population.
