Jodi Dottori, 50, Financial Accounting Foundation Chief of Staff

Jodi P. Dottori, age 50 of Westport, the beloved husband of Paloma Bima and cherished father of Pia and Paul, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2014 with his family by his side. 

He was born in New Haven to Mario and Arlene (Pellegrino) Dottori.  Jodi attended Hamden Hall and received a B.A. in political science and economics at Denison University and went on to complete his Juris Doctorate from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law. 

He practiced law at Schatz & Schatz and Cummings & Lockwood and later held senior positions at Priceline.com and DSL.net.

In 2006, Jodi joined the Financial Accounting Foundation in Norwalk, where he served as an officer, General Counsel and most recently as the Chief of Staff.

Jodi loved to play sports, especially wrestling, baseball, football and triathlons. He enjoyed spending summers at the beach and winters skiing with his family.

In addition to his wife, children and parents, Jodi is survived by his brother, Mario and his wife, Johannah of Virginia; his sister, Maria and her husband, Alex Rossides of New York; his mother-in-law, Carmina Alonso; his sister-in-law, Maria Bima and his brother-in-law, Alberto Bima, all from Barcelona, Spain; as well as his nephews and nieces, Corinne, Lilah, Aina, Marc, Oriol, Chloe and Zoe and many other relatives and close friends.

His family wishes to have Jodi remembered as a kind, charitable and loving person, with an incredible sense of humor and a beautiful zest for life. He was blessed with many friends and colleagues, who loved and admired him. He will always be remembered and truly be missed.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. directly at St. Luke Parish, 49 Turkey Hill Rd. N., Westport.  All are invited to a reception in the church’s community room following the Mass. 

Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield Center.
