Piggish Behavior

                                                            I would like to report some dangerous reckless behavior that took place on the Post Road near Torno Lumber between Rosedale and the 95 connector. Staples High School senior class members in a string of cars and pick up trucks waving American flags and cheering happily on way to football rally.
The DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR IN HEAVY TRAFFIC WAs caused by arrogant aggressive WESTPORT POLICE MEN AND Woman WHO SWOOPED DOWN IN THEIR SHINY NEW SUV police cars. To pull over the well behaved kids in an outrageous display of Power and Hubris. The cop strutted out like he thought he was a Mister Universe contender! Near accident caused BY POLICE WHY? The cops made the students get out of the the pick up where they were safely seated. Made them cram into the front cab of the pickup completely stalling rush hour traffic on the Post Road!!  WHY?
If these TOUGH GUY wanna- be-Marines-COPs were REALLY concerned about safety, why didn't they just escort the kids along in the 'Parade' with their HI tech  POLICE LIGHTS on? That would have been appropriate, and even in the Community Spirit that these MACHO GOON, COPS and yes: PIGS. interrupted and endangered instead!? Disgusting display of STUPIDITY and Police Arrogance !
I've lived in Westport for 23 years. The police have always been helpful and well mannered.
WHERE DID the WESTPORT Police Department FIND these new recruits? ?
From some bad Hollywood casting director?
