Bail Enforcement Agent Brings Wanted Man to Westport PD

The man was held at the Westport Police Department until his arraignment Tuesday morning.

Jose Salazar was brought in to the Westport Police Department Sunday by a bail enforcement agent who had him in custody for three active failure to appear warrants, police said.

The Westport Police Department charged Salazar, 27, of Bridgeport, with illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension and other motor vehicle charges in February, 2012. He failed to appear in court on the pending charges in June and again in January, according to the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
