Bridgeport Man Arrested For Assaulting Elderly Victim in Westport

Westport Police reports from Sept. 28 - Oct. 3.

Nathan Myers, 20, of 118 Catherine Street, Bridgeport, was charged Oct. 2 with second-degree assault and second-degree assault on an elderly person. Officers responded to the Meriden Police Department where they took custody of Myers, who had an outstanding warrant. The warrant stems from an incident in late August at Hallbrook Hospital where Myers allegedly assaulted an employee of the hospital who was over the age of 62. He was held on a $25,000 bond for his arraignment Monday morning at Norwalk Superior Court.

Victoria Wallace, 22, of Westport turned herself in on an arrest warrant for disorderly conduct regarding a domestic dispute with her mother that occurred on June 15. She was released on a $500 bond for court.

Kathryn Lukach, 22, of 319 Silver Hill Road, Easton, was charged Oct. 2 with DUI and failure to drive right at a slow speed. Lukach was swerving on Riverside Avenue. As she passed 170 Riverside Avenue, an officer saw her cross over the double yellow centerline. Once stopped, the officer noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and she was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed. She was taken into custody and refused to submit to a breath test. Lukach was later released after posting a $500 bond for court Oct. 11.

Kweaunz Previlus, 50, of 27 Paradiso Street, Norwalk, was charged Oct. 2 with second-degree failure to appear. Previlus was observed operating a vehicle with no front marker plate. He was stopped on I-95 southbound at the exit 18 on ramp. It was then found that he had an active warrant for failure to appear. The warrant originated out of Norwalk stemming from an arrest for motor vehicle charges. He was taken into custody and later released after posting a $250 bond for court Oct. 12.
