A 19 year-old Bridgeport woman was arrested early Saturday morning after a patrol officer allegedly witnessed her driving erratically on Greens Farms Road, according to police.
Just after 2 a.m., the officer began following Jessica Gallo of Battery Park Drive and observed her vehicle swerving several times out of her lane of travel, according to police. Gallo was stopped and the officer immediately detected the odor of alcohol, police said.
Gallo failed roadside sobriety tests, arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and failure to drive in the proper lane. Gallo submitted two breathlyzer tests, which read .152 and .137, respectively. Gallo was released after posting a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on May 28.
