Car Crashes into Telephone Pole in Westport
At approximately 7:20 a.m., Westport Firefighters responded to a report of a car that crashed into a telephonepole on Clapboard Hill Road near Greens Farms Road.
Arriving fire units found a Nissan Frontier pickup truck in the pole. The driver of the vehicle was not at the scene, according to Chief Andrew Kingsbury
Firefighters checked the vehicle for spilled fluids and disconnected the battery to prepare the vehicle for towing. arrived on scene shortly after and began the investigation and the car was towed from the scene.
