COPS: Man Arrested for Stealing Laptop from Walmart

The suspect was found with a stolen Acer laptop computer valued at $694, police said.

Norwalk police responded to the Walmart at 680 Connecticut Avenue at about 5:45 p.m. Monday and arrested a Brookfield man after working in cooperation with the Wilton Police Department, police said. 
On Monday, Michael Cestari, 31, was reportedly attempting to steal equipment from Ring's End in Wilton, but fled in a Chevrolet Avalanche towards Norwalk before police were able to locate him, according to an arrest report. 
Later that day, Wilton police spotted Cestari walking to his vehicle from Walmart. Cestari was found with a stolen Acer laptop computer valued at $694, police said. 
Cestari was charged with larceny. He is due in court April 25.
