The alleged victim called 911 after he crossed the Fairfield town line and reported "a white male jumped out of his vehicle and pointed a black hand gun at him," according to Westport police.

The complainant obtained the license plate of the suspect's vehicle and relayed the information to police, according to the report. Fairfield police spotted the suspect car on Pemburn Drive and conducted a felony stop, Fairfield police spokesperson Lt. James Perez said Friday.

Police recovered a black Glock 9mm handgun on the suspect's waist, which was safely taken from Keiser without incident, according to Perez.

Keiser was charged by Westport police with second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of the peace. He has a gun permit and the gun is registered, police said.

Fairfield police further issued Keiser an infraction for possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, which K-9 Officer Ruger found in the car, Perez said.

Keiser was released on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in the Norwalk Court on March 8.
