A driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries following a motor vehicle rollover that occurred on Saturday, Jan. 19, near the intersection of Imperial and Baker avenues in Westport.
According to a press release from the Westport Fire Department, emergency workers were dispatched at about 4:35 p.m. on a report of a single-car motor vehicle accident with possible injuries.
On arrival firefighters discovered that the driver was trapped inside the vehicle, which had rolled onto its side. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and removed the driver, who was treated for minor injuries.
The driver was transported to the hospital by Westport Emergency Medical Service.
