Five Arrested With Stolen Credit Cards

The suspects failed to post bond and will be arraigned in Norwalk Superior Court today.

During a routine traffic stop Wednesday night, Westport police officer Marc Heinmiller found five occupants of a vehicle he stopped on Post Road East had stolen credit cards and a large amount of gift cards that were purchased with the fraudulent credit cards.  

He arrested Kendell Bascombe, 20, of Waterbury and Rosedale, N.Y., residents Paul Phang, 24, Adrian Abrams, 20, Samuel Nelson, 20, and David Enahora, 20, all on charges of possessing stolen credit cards, larceny, identity theft and unlawful reproduction of a credit card.

Bond was set at $50,000 for Bascombe, Phang, Enahora, and Nelson. Bond for Abram was set at $20,000. The suspects failed to post bond and will be arraigned in Norwalk Superior Court today.
