LoHud.com: Westport Woman Arrested in NY
Lisa Bruno was arrested today on charges of grand larceny and using unlicensed therapists to serve special needs children, police said.
Lisa Bruno, a 36-year-old Westport resident, who owns the child-therapy agency Care Point Services, surrendered to Westchester County police in New York Wednesday morning on charges of grand larceny and using using unlicensed therapists to serve special needs children.
According to LoHud.com, she is accused of double billing the county for occupational and physical therapy, receiving $852,425 to which she was not entitled.
The charges follow a six-month investigation by police.
