Man Charged with DUI in Westport
The alleged drunk driving incident occurred on Saturday.

A Wilton man was charged with driving under the influence in Westport early Saturday.
Kevin Boreen, 53, of Nod Hill Road, was pulled over by police at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday for allegedly failing to drive in the proper lane on a Westport road.

The responding officer detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from Boreen, who failed roadside sobriety tests, according to the report.
Boreen was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane on a multiple-lane highway. He was released after posting a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Aug. 6.
