Man Robs Westport Store at Gunpoint, Steals $200 [UPDATE]
Westport Police Department responded to 337 Main Street (Merritt Country Store) to a report of an armed robbery at about 3:30 a.m.
Update: 5:30 p.m.
A man entered the wearing dark clothes, a black mask with large black sunglasses and walked out with nearly $200 after showing the clerk a black handgun, according to WestportNow.com
The clerk handed over the cash and the suspect left the store headed northbound on Main Street. Monroe Police responded and conducted a K-9 track with negative results.
