New York Man Allegedly Found With Pills Claims to be Dentist

Police say they searched the man's vehicle after smelling marijuana coming from the car.

Jose Andrickson, 44, of Bronx, New York, was charged Feb. 25 with possession of a controlled substance (narcotics) and narcotic possession only in original container. 

Andrickson was stopped for crossing over the double yellow lines on Post Road West, according to a report from .  When speaking to Andrickson, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle, the report states. Upon searching the vehicle, the officer located an orange prescription bottle with the label torn off. 

Within the bottle were twenty two twenty-two white oval pills later identified as Vicodin, police say. Andrickson stated that he was a dentist and that that the pills were his and he gives them to a patient of his when she needs them, according to the report.

He was placed under arrest and taken into custody. He was later released after posting $500 bond for court March. 6.
