Norwalk Cleaning Woman Accused of Stealing from Westport Homeowner
Westport police reports: March 5-7.
Margarita Flores-Garcia, 38, of 30 Fairfield Avenue, Norwalk, was charged Monday with sixth-degree larceny (theft from a building) after she turned herself into on an active warrant, police said.
This warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation whereby Flores-Garcia was employed as a cleaning woman and allegedly had stolen several gift cards valued at $125.00 from the homeowner, according to a police report.
She posted $2,500 bond and was released for court March 15.
