Norwalk Man Arrested on Narcotics Charges

Police say arrest was a result of carrying out a warrant for an unrelated investigation.

Alfred Trusewicz, 19, of Norwalk was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and sale of controlled substance on August 11.

Police said while conducting a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation unrelated to the narcotics charges, officers located a large amount of cash in a plastic bag and some marijuana.

Police did not give an address where the search was carried out.

Police said they also found more than 300 small plastic bags used for packaging narcotics. In addition they found a cigarette box containing seven yellow pills, which were later identified as Clonazepam, a controlled substance. The pills were found near the marijuana and cash, police said.

Police said the marijuana weighed 3.34 oz. Trusewicz posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 25.

Other reports:

Ruben Reyes, 47, of 45 Jesup Road, was arrested and charged with third degree assault and disorderly conduct on August 12. Police said Reyes, a resident of the Gillespie Center, became argumentative and aggressive toward the manager there. Another resident intervened and Reyes allegedly punched the other resident in the face. Police said the fight continued until it was broken-up by the other residents. Reyes was held on bond and was transported to Norwalk Superior Court for arraignment.

Sienna Peterson, 23, of Stratford and Dorothy Freelove, 23, of Bridgeport were arrested and each charged with fourth degree larceny on August 12. Police said the manager of LF Store on Main Street called police and reported observing a female, later identified as Peterson, crouching down in a corner and shoving white shirts into her bag. The manager reported that the suspect was with another female. Police said the manager followed the pair out of the store and stopped them to ask about the merchandise, but they both drove away in a white Chevrolet Lumina. Officers on patrol stopped the vehicle in Parker Harding Plaza and both parties were taken into custody. Police said the clothing taken was valued at $1,194.00.  Peterson and Freelove posted bond and are each scheduled to appear in court on August 22.

Joan Perez, 27, of Norwalk was arrested and charged with failure to appear in court on August 12. According to police, Perez was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on the I-95 southbound entrance ramp at Exit 18. Police said during the traffic stop officers became aware that Perez had an active warrant for failure to appear out of Norwalk stemming from an original arrest by Norwalk Police for motor vehicle violations. He was taken into custody and released after posting bond.
