Police Blotter: June 28-July 7

Here are the latest crime reports released by the Westport Police Department.

The following arrest reports were obtained from the Westport Police Department for the period of June 28 to July 7.

  • Terrance McLoughlin of Bridgeport , 45, was arrested June 28 on a charge of issuing a bad check for $240 to the UPS Store on Post Road East. He was arrested at a court in Bridgeport where he was appearing on another unrelated case.
  • Maciej Raszczyk-Lawski of Fairfield, 29, was arrested June 30 on charges of issuing a bad check and larceny. According to a police report, Raszczyk-Lawski purchased three gold coins from Sam Sloat Coins on Post Road East earlier this month by writing checks from a closed account totaling $1,948.58.
  • Charles Brady of Westport, 20, was arrested Friday on a charge of providing alcohol to minors. According to the police report, officers responded to a loud party at 25 Edgemarth Hill where they found several youths seated around a table in the basement with an empty liquor bottle, several cans of beer and plastic cups. No one at the party was over the age of 21. 
  • Timothy Fasano of Westport, 45, was arrested Monday on charges of violating his probation. His bond was set at $10,000 and he is next scheduled to appear in court July 15. No further details were available.
