Radio Shack Robbed, Police Looking for Suspect

A man who claimed he was armed with a gun robbed Radio Shack on 877 Post Road E. minutes before closing time on Friday night.

According to police, a man enterted the store at 8:50 p.m. and confronted the store clerk. The suspect drew the clerk's attention to his pockets and said that he had a gun. No gun was ever shown, but the suspect demanded cash from the clerk.

The suspect left the store on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. Later, the police dog and officers searched the area but could not find anything.

Police described the suspect as a black male, light to medium skin tone, approximately 5 feet 7 inches with a thin build.  He was wearing blue jeans and a fleece zip-up jacket.  He was also wearing a black skull cap which did not conceal his face, which was described as having severe acne.
