Three-Vehicle Accident on I-95 Sends One to Hospital

Accident occurred at about 5:36 p.m. on I-95 north between Exits 17 and 18

A three-car accident that occurred at about 5:36 p.m. today on I-95 north between Exits 17 and 18 reportedly resulted in one of the cars’ occupants being transported to Norwalk Hospital by Westport EMS.

According to a report from Assistant Chief Robert Kepchar of the Westport Fire Department, firefighters cleaned up spilled fluids from the roadway and remained on scene until the vehicles were towed.

State police are reportedly investigating the accident.
