Two motorists reportedly sustained non-life threatening injuries when a tractor trailer jackknifed on I-95 southbound Saturday morning in Westport.
According to a report on WTNH, the accident, which involved the tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle, happened shortly before 6 a.m. between exits 19 and 18.
The tractor trailer reportedly veered off the highway after jackknifing and was heavily damaged, but the driver escaped without injury.
The passenger vehicle was heavily damaged and the occupants had to be removed using hydraulic rescue tools, according to the report.
The accident reportedly caused major delays on I-95 southbound.
