Wanted Man Arrested While Flagging Down Cars in Westport

When an officer stopped two men on Post Road West they stated that they trying to flag someone down to take them to a gas station, police said.

 

Two men reportedly ran out of gas and began to flag down cars on Post Road West nearby the Norwalk line at about 11 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

The officer learned that one of the men, identified at 21-year-old Brandon Roe, of Norwalk, had an outstanding warrant from State Police Troop G for failing to appear in court on motor vehicle charges, police said.

Roe was taken into custody and later released after posting a $750 surety bond. He is due in court on Jan 25.
