An officer initiated a traffic stop after witnessing a driver cross over the double yellow line several times on Wilton Road at about 1:30 a.m. Friday morning, police said.
While speaking with the driver, Karen Bottger, 19, of Weston, the officer could smell alcohol on her breath, police said. Bottger failed the field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
