Westport FD Extinguishes House Fire

Firefighters extinguished a fire on the third floor of a Saugatuck Island home Thursday afternoon.

responded to fire on the third floor of the home at 139 Harbor Avenue just after 3 p.m. today. 

No injuries were reported, according to a Westport Paramedic, but Firefighters, Westport police and Westport EMS remained on scene at about 4:35 p.m. Firefighters were opening up walls and looking for potential hazards.
