A Westport man violated a protective order by making numerous threatening phone calls and destroying property of the protected party, police said.
Westport police charged 49-year-old Guy Crowe, of 19 Hiawatha Lane, Westport, with a criminal violation of a protected order, second-degree threatening, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Crowe was arrested Tuesday afternoon on a warrant for the alleged offences, police said.
He was unable to post the court set $25,000 bond and was transported to Norwalk Superior Court for arraignment.
