He was issued a $10,000 bond and held at court for his arraignment.

Jessica Hwang, 38, of 1655 Post Road East, Westport, was charged Oct. 3 with DUI, pssing in a no passing zone, failure to drive in proper lane and a criminal violation of a protective order (threatening or trespassing). Hwang went to the Westport Police Department and turned herself in for two outstanding arrest warrants. The warrants stem from an incident in September where she was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Greens Farms Road in the area of River Oaks. The vehicle had rolled over onto its roof and the operator, Hwang, was out of the vehicle. She was transported to the hospital for evaluation. An arrest warrant was applied for operating under the influence and other motor vehicle charges. During the course of the investigation it was determined that she was the respondent of a protective order in which one of the conditions of the order is that she not use any alcohol or illegal drugs. Both warrants were issued by the court. She posted a $7,500 bond and was released for court Oct. 4.

Anthony Bolling, 50, of 41 Wood Avenue, Trumbull, was charged Oct. 4 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear. Bolling was observed on Ferry Lane West operating a vehicle with no front marker plate. The operator, Boland, was found to have two warrants for failure to appear. One warrant originated from him failing to appear on motor vehicles charges in Westport and the other warrant originated from him failing to appear on motor vehicle charges from Stratford.  He posted a $1,750 bond and was released for court Oct. 14.
