Sour business deals led to the destruction of one man's Apple computer and iPhone while he was inside the at 935 Post Road East just before 5 p.m. Thursday.
According to several witness accounts, including the victim’s, 56-year-old Glenn Bierman, of 177 Good Hill Road, Weston, walked up behind the victim and dumped a hot cup of coffee on the Apple laptop computer that he was currently using, police said.
Bierman then picked up the victim’s Apple iPhone and dropped it into a cup of coffee that had been left on the table, according to police.
No words were exchanged and following the incident, Bierman simply exited the building and drove away. The victim knew Bierman and has had past business dealings with him and that there had been a conflict between them as a result, police said.
Police eventually spoke with Bierman and he went to the where he was placed under arrest and charged with second-degree criminal mischief and creating a public disturbance. He was later released on a promise to appear in court May 7.
