The Westport Police Department is continuing to monitor the area from Hillspoint Road to South Compo and Imperial Avenue for the two roaming dogs that were running around Wednesday and Thursday morning, Westport Police Captain Sam Arciola said.
“It is encouraging to us that there have been no recent sightings of the two dogs and that we are hoping that their unknown owner or owners have taken possession of them again,” Arciola said.
“We are continuing to advise residents in these areas, should they observe the dogs, not to approach them and report all sightings to the Westport Police Department,” he said.
