Westport police officers responded to the area of Wilton Road and Newtown Turnpike after a citizen reported that a driver was, “passed out behind the wheel of a Subaru,” police said.

When officers located the Subaru at about 2 a.m. Friday, they witnessed the driver make a u-turn, drive up an embankment and then stop, according to an arrest report.

Seibold failed the field sobriety test and was taken into custody. She was unable to take the breath test properly because she could not follow directions, police said.

Seibold was released on a $500 cash-only bond. She is due in State Superior Court in Norwalk on February 21.
