The driver allegedly struck four parked cars on Saugatuck Avenue at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday, police said.
While speaking with the driver, the officer detected alcohol on her breath. The officer also noticed her eyes were red and that she had slurred speech, police said.
Westport police charged Lauren Sevilla, 30, of Bridgeport, with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, insurance coverage fails minimum requirements and failure to driver right at a slow speed, according to the arrest report.
Sevilla failed the field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. She refused to take the breath test, police said.
She was released after posting a $500 cash bond. She is due in Norwalk Superior Court October 24.
