Westport Police Make Drug Bust
Police initially pulled the driver over because of his dark window tints.
charged Jose Burgos, 22, of Norwalk, with possession with intent to sell marijuana on May 24.
Burgos was observed traveling southbound on I-95 in Westport with dark tinted windows on his vehicle, according to police.

When stopped, the officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle, police said. He told the officer there was marijuana in the center console and a search of the vehicle further produced ‘significantly’ more marijuana, police said.
He was taken into custody and was later released on a surety bond. He is due in court May 31.
