Westport PD: Minors Busted For Underage Drinking, Burglary

One female and four males, including one juvenile, were arrested Sunday morning at about 11:30 when the property manager for the first floor apartment of a Westport building arrived and found the front door unlocked, police said. When he entered, he located four males sleeping there who did not have permission to be there. It appeared that all four males were partying and drinking on the property, police said.

There were several empty bottles of liquor and several beer cans on the premises, according to the police report. As a result of the on scene investigation, the female was also arrested.

Natasha Kuranko, 18, of 95 Saugatuck Avenue, Westport, was charged with third-degree burglary. Thomas Bartlett, 21, of Norwalk, was charged with third-degree burglary and permitting possession of alcohol by a minor. Jeffrey Allen, 19, of Norwalk and Lucas Calloway, 18, of Fairfield, were both charged with third-degree burglary and possession of alcohol by a minor.

All parties were released for court April 4 after posting $1,000 bond.
