An identity theft suspect was arrested in Greenwich Wednesday night on a warrant from Westport Police Department that stems from an incident that occurred at First County Bank in April, police said.
In July the suspect, who has an extensive history of bank fraud and criminal impersonation related crimes in Connecticut, was arrested in Westport on similar charges after being on the run state and local authorities, police said.
Westport police charged 29-year-old Eric Christian, of Norwalk, with third-degree identity theft and criminal impersonation, according to police.
The investigation by the Westport Police Department Detective Bureau identified Christian as the suspect regarding the incident at First County Bank in April and detectives applied for a warrant, police said.
