reportedly found the man asleep with his foot on the brake pedal and the vehicle in "drive" while the car was running.
After several attempts to wake the man, later identified as 22-year-old Robert Reeder, of Bedford, NY, officers forced entry by breaking a rear passenger window and unlocking the doors, police said. Once the driver woke up and spoke with the officers, they detected alcohol on his breath.
Reeder failed the field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He submitted to the breath test with the following result: 0.2125. He was later released after posting $500 bond. He is due in court June 26.
